Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Nights)

Location: Greeley, Colorado
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Position based regionally with potential to float between facilities as needed.
  • Candidate should have multi-skill capacity including:
    • Proficient triage skills (preferred)
    • Provide couplet care for mom and baby postpartum
    • Circulate OR cases
    • Admit and catch babies (preferred)
  • Subject to weekend, holiday, float, and call requirements per department guidelines.
  • Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or within one week.
  • Return to Office (RTO) cannot exceed 7 days and no RTO during the first week of assignment.
  • Candidates should specify all shifts, departments, and locations they are willing to work.
  • Candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 24 months Labor & Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Colorado with no restrictions.
  • Life support certifications from approved vendors (AHA, ARC, or ASHI):
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • AWHONN/AFM certification
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Flu vaccination required (medical and/or religious exemptions accepted with documentation).
  • Valid driver’s license to verify residency.
  • Resume must include all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds.
  • L&D skills checklist completed within the last 12 months.
  • Active license verification within the last 30 days.
  • Completion of required learning modules prior to assignment start.

Additional Information

  • Travel experience is highly preferred but not explicitly required.
  • Candidate flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments will improve chances of securing an offer.
  • Strict adherence to background check standards is required.
  • Non-billable hours are adjusted to reflect 16 hours per assignment.
  • Assignments may be canceled with one full week’s notice without penalty.

Work Environment

  • Level II Trauma Center with 378 beds.
  • Provides comprehensive emergency care, specialized cancer care, and advanced robotic surgery.
