Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab / Pre/Post-Op (Days)

Role Summary

• Temp assignment in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
• Primary care is Cardiac Holding with float assistance to Vascular and possibly diagnostic cardiology.
• 19 pre/post rooms.
• Patient types include prep/post for heart cath, Cardiac Cath, possibly EP, and groin/radial site management.
• EMR: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience).
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year.
• Experience in a PACU or Preoperative setting.
• Pre/Post Cath Lab experience.
• Groin and radial site management.
• TR band management experience.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Driver's License.
• Experience with Epic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent/current Cardiac Cath or Cardiac post op care experience.
• At least 1 professional reference/reference check from within 24 months of today’s date.
• 1st time travelers are welcomed with at least 36 months experience.

Schedule

• Days
• 13-week contract
• NBO: 16 hrs

Additional Notes

• Float assistance may include Vascular and possibly diagnostic cardiology.
• Past employees of UPH who were FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool are not eligible for travel in another market under the stated separation policy.
