Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Position

Location: Escondido, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Job Details

• Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, days only (no alternate schedules)
• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Required experience: Preferred 2-3 years with Trubeam experience (Trubeam experience required)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
• Radiation Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) or Therapy (T)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Competencies & Testing

• Unit Specialty Competency Exam with 80% pass rate, to be completed within 12 months of start
• Core competency exams (Parts I, II, III) with 80% or above, updated annually
• Pass/Fail arrhythmia exam prior to start for applicable units including Radiology Interventional
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (80% pass rate) for all RN specialties (if applicable)

Orientation & Training

• Online orientation required prior to start
• Cardiac Rhythms course assigned based on position/unit
• HIPAA and safety manual acknowledgements required

References & Documentation

• Two professional references within 3 years, from manager, supervisor, or charge RN
• Employment application required
• Annual skills checklist

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
