Role Overview

Home hospice RN position.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Hospice Palliative Care RN (1 year of experience)
  • Hospice Palliative Care RN experience within the last year
  • Experience in a(n) Home Care setting
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Requirements

  • E-Verify
  • Fit test on site if hired upon arrival
  • 7-year criminal background check
  • Motor vehicle/driving record review
  • Virginia State Police check
  • Fingerprinting
  • TB screening
  • Physical exam within the last 12 months
  • Drug screen within the last 12 months
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • COVID vaccine series preferred only
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
  • Photo for badge
  • Confidentiality, dress code, safety, drug-free, scrub colors, fingernail, and hand hygiene policy acknowledgements
  • Skills checklist
  • Employment application/resume
  • Work history verification
  • Education verification
  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
  • Pass/fail testing acknowledgement
  • Competency and medication/pharmacology exams
