Overview
- Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Float to multiple ICU units, including trauma, oncology, cardiac/heart and vascular, neurology, medicine, and COVID.
- If ICU needs are low, the nurse may float to inpatient floors, non-critical care units, or be asked to work as a patient sitter.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Critical Care Float experience with 2 years of experience
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Float experience
- CVICU experience
- BLS
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Vents
- IV start
- Telemetry
- Conscious sedation
Preferred Qualifications
- Swans/hemodynamic interpretation
- IABP
- Impella
- ECMO
- Vasoactive drips
- CRRT experience
- Chemo

Schedule Requirements
- Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Holiday rotation
Additional Notes
- Ratio is 2:1 in ICU and up to 1:3 on inpatient floors
- Navy blue scrubs
