Overview

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Float to multiple ICU units, including trauma, oncology, cardiac/heart and vascular, neurology, medicine, and COVID.
If ICU needs are low, the nurse may float to inpatient floors, non-critical care units, or be asked to work as a patient sitter.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Critical Care Float experience with 2 years of experience
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Float experience
CVICU experience
BLS
ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS
Vents
IV start
Telemetry
Conscious sedation

Schedule Requirements

Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Ratio is 2:1 in ICU and up to 1:3 on inpatient floors
