Key Job Details

• Travelers are expected to float frequently and are first to float.
• The unit uses a team-based care model with bedside RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and virtual nurses.
• The role includes care for medical and telemetry patients with acute and chronic illness.
• Clinical responsibilities include titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, post-bariatric procedures, high oxygen delivery systems, and end-of-life care.
• Ratios are 1:8 on days and 1:9 on nights.
• Weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts out of 8 in a 4-week period.
• Up to 2 weeks of requested time off is permitted.
• Travelers must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility.
• Pending license is accepted, but if the license is not in hand at submission, the start date will be 6 weeks out.
• Scrubs are required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Nebraska
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• NRP
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic
