Overview
- Travel/Contract RN assignment in Seattle, Washington
- Start date: 10/12
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Ratio: 1:4–5
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Floating: may float within scope to meet facility needs
- Locals accepted
- Pending license accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedics experience
- Stroke experience
- Cardiology experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Manager prefers to avoid travel pairs
Unit / Setting
- Acute care float pool covering acute care and telemetry units, including Behavioral Health and Respite
- Experience with Ortho/Neuro-Stroke and Cardiac Tele is required
- High volume of peripheral nerve catheters on ortho floors
- Split 12-hour shifts may be divided into 8 hours in one area and 4 hours in another, so strong time management is needed
Additional Notes
- Magnet, Teaching, Level I trauma facility
- 500 staffed beds
- Any solid color scrubs; light blue scrubs are also provided on unit
- Onsite parking is available for a fee
