Overview

Travel/contract position in Escondido, California
13-week assignment
Night shift, 3x12s
36 hours per week
No locals
May float to postpartum; may also float to Poway Campus
No first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Valid RN license in California
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
One completed travel assignment
OB Circulating experience
OB PACU experience
AWHONN Intermediate
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Driver's License

Additional Requirements

Cerner EMR charting familiarity
2 references from a manager, supervisor, or charge RN within the past 3 years
Employment application required
Skills checklist required and must be updated annually
Background check required within 30 days of start
NURSYS verification required
Physical exam within 1 year of start and updated annually
Fit mask within 12 months of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start and updated annually
Drug screen required within 30 days prior to start
Photo for badge required prior to start
Flu declination form required prior to start
Online orientation required
Flu documentation or declination required for working/extending candidates during flu season
COVID vaccination is preferred; declination required if unvaccinated

Health and Immunization Requirements

Measles: 2 vaccines or positive titer
Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer
Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer
Hepatitis B: vaccination series, positive titer, or declination
Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive IGG titer
Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap preferred, not required
