Travel/Contract RN Job Summary
Role Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse

- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
- Start date: ASAP, with a 3–4 week compliance window
- Start day: Tuesdays
- Variable start times: 0600–0900
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Work Setting
- Short-term acute care
- Magnet, teaching, Level I trauma center
- Primary assignment at the main hospital, with floating as needed to another site within scope
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Radiology experience within the last year
- 2 years of radiology experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Nurse coordinator experience
- Oncology experience
- Pediatric experience
- Cardiac imaging procedure experience
- Epic experience
Schedule / Assignment Notes
- Weekend work may be required
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling may be accommodated by request
- Local candidates are accepted
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Pending license is accepted if the application has been submitted and received by the licensing board for the 90-day exemption
Compliance / Onboarding
- Must be fully available for compliance needs until start date
- Time off requests must be disclosed at submission
- Requests for more than 5 days off require adding time to the end of the contract
- Government-issued photo ID is required on the first day
- Background check, work history verification, education verification, and other standard pre-start compliance items are required
- Must complete facility-specific onboarding documents and training before start
Health Requirements
- Fit testing is required within 1 year before start
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray is required
- TB questionnaire is required
- Tdap is required within 10 years or a signed declination
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination or declination documentation is required
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination is required
- Drug screening is required
