Role
Palliative Care RN on the 11th floor, with day/night or night shift options.
Schedule
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Palliative experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
- Must float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Preferred
- Previous travel experience
Assignment Notes
- The unit focuses on symptom management for patients still under treatment, including uncontrolled pain, severe nausea/vomiting, failure to thrive, and fatigue.
- The ideal candidate is a med surg nurse interested in building palliative care skills while floating to other high-acuity med surg units.
