Behavioral Health RN

Assignment Overview

Travel/contract role in Fayetteville, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
Unit includes Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Behavioral Health
Patient ratio: 1:5–6
Every other weekend required
Floating within scope to like units is required
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
Block scheduling is not available
On-call is not required

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS certification
2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience
Must pass an EKG exam
Must pass dysrhythmia/EKG competency testing
Pending license is not accepted

Additional Notes

EKG/medication pass-fail testing is required for awareness on Med/Surg/Tele-related units
Return travelers must have been away for 1 year
Travelers may extend once; after a 2-contract limit, they must be away for 6 months before returning
RTO is subject to manager discretion
