Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Ashtabula, Ohio
• 8-week assignment
• Night shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Psychiatric experience within the last year
• 1.5 years of psychiatric experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Work History

• 3 years of prior work history
• At least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting
• Experience in a similar area to the assignment

Additional Compliance Items

• Valid government-issued photo ID
• Background check before start
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• Monthly HHS/OIG screening
• BCI and FBI fingerprinting within 12 months of start
• Education verification
• Unit-specific competency exam within 12 months of start
• Annual skills checklist
• Annual orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Annual physical exam
• Fit testing on site during orientation
• Tdap vaccination every 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray, depending on history
• Annual TB questionnaire if there is a past positive TB history
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation
• Annual drug screen
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption year round
