Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele)

Job Description

• Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit
• Flex shifts: 3p-11:30p / 11p-7:30a / 7p-7:30a
• 40 hours per week
• Must have 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit requirement for prior travel experience mentioned

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Background checks including 7-year work/location history, sex offender registry, and state-specific searches
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Facility-specific forms including CORI release
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit testing with 3M N95 Model 1860 mask required
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test (QuantiFERON Gold or Tspot preferred within 6 months) or 2-step PPD skin test
  • Positive titers or boosters for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B (declination form required if applicable)
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant screens not accepted)
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct-May); exemptions require facility approval
• COVID-19 vaccination required annually or approved medical/religious exemption

Competency Requirements

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (minimum 80% or Angoff score)
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam for MS/Tele
• Color blindness testing (Ishihara test) if applicable
• Pass/fail testing on EKG/medications on first day of orientation

References

• Documentation of 2 recent professional work references required

Additional Notes

• Scrub color is flexible; scrubs provided for OR if applicable
• TNCC preferred but not required
• Facility requires annual updates on background checks and certifications
