Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Start Date: Next applicable orientation date (3-4 weeks out)
Schedule: 36-40 hours per week (3x12 or 8/10 shifts)
On-call Requirement: Cardiac call 2-3 days per week, minimum 6 days per month (weekdays and 24-hour weekend shifts)
Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
Block scheduling: Not accommodated
Locals accepted at same rate
Pending license accepted
Must be nicotine-free (smoke-free facility)
Must prioritize time-sensitive training modules once assigned

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
