Location: Fort Collins, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 5 shifts of 8 hours each
• Shift Times: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: No
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating: Traveler will float to a nearby sister facility
• Orientation: Traveler must be onsite for orientation and assist with opening a new department
• Scrub Color: Grey or Steel
• Special Requirements: Experience with TrueBeam technology required
• First-time Travelers: Accepted if they have the required experience

Required Qualifications

• Radiation Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• I9 or Attestation
• Driver’s License/State ID (clear copies front/back)
• E-Verify or Attestation
• Proof of Name Change (if applicable)
• 7-year Background Check including:

  • SSN Trace
  • State and Federal checks (Colorado CBI, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
  • Education Verification (accredited programs)
• Transcript/Diploma acceptable in lieu of education verification
• Physical Exam within 1 year, signed by MD, DO, NP, or PA (not Chiropractor)
• Fit Mask test within 12 months, updated annually (specific mask types required)
• Immunizations and Titers:

  • TDAP within 10 years or signed declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination or facility exemption during flu season
• Drug Testing within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Color Blindness: Ishihara exam required prior to start (online testing not accepted)
• COVID-19: Proof of vaccination or signed declination accepted

Competency & Training Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (updated annually)
• Competency Exam (minimum 80% score, updated annually)
• OSHA Mandatory Training (updated annually)
• Other core competency exams as applicable

Employment History & References

• 3 years of employment history required, including current contact info
• Gaps greater than 30 days must be explained
• 2 professional references from the last 2 years required (one from last year)
• References must be from Charge RN, Manager, Supervisor, or higher

Additional Notes

• Candidates with gaps of 15+ days in employment are considered new and must meet full requirements
• Traveler must be able to float to a sister facility approximately 11.7 miles away
• Orientation and initial onsite presence required at the primary facility
