Job Opportunity: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Location: Sacramento, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift options:
- 4 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- 3 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Alternate scheduling:
- Week 1: Tuesday to Friday
- Week 2: Wednesday to Friday
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Must meet all background check requirements (see Background Checks section)
Background Checks & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check including:
- Social Security trace with all aliases
- County searches for all locations lived/worked/schooled in last 7 years
- Nationwide sex offender search (within 90 days of start)
- Education verification (highest level achieved)
- FACIS Level 3 screening within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks, updated annually
- Motor Vehicle Report if driving is required (not applicable here)
- Transcript/Diploma verification as needed
- State-specific Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List search if FACIS III cannot be run
Certifications & Training
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification required for Behavioral Health LVN/LPNs at this facility (verify if applicable)
- Additional certifications may be required based on position specifics (verify with recruiter)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start (must clear candidate for work)
- Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (exceptions apply)
- Immunizations and/or proof of immunity required for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Tuberculosis screening (negative test within 90 days, annual renewal required)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
- Hepatitis B (series or signed declination)
- Varicella (chickenpox)
- Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov 1 – Apr 30) or signed declination
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per CA law)
Documentation & Compliance
- Must complete and sign facility-specific documents prior to start, including:
- Job description acknowledgment
- Standards of Business Conduct
- General Regulatory Orientation for Contracted Workers
- Vendor Training (2024 or 2025 depending on contract date)
- Code of Conduct (2024 or 2025 depending on contract date)
- Overpayment Refund Policy (2024 or 2025 depending on contract date)
- Conditional Offer of Employment Attestation
- TB Screening Questionnaire (signed by candidate and healthcare provider)
- Religious accommodation forms if applicable (for facial hair or vaccine exemptions)
Employment History & References
- Full 7 years of work history required on application with no gaps
- Employment verification for up to 7 years required, including explanation of any gaps over 30 days
- 2 professional references required for clinical and allied health candidates (within last 3 years)
