Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Summary

ICU position with an average daily census of 44 patients
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
Weekend coverage: every other weekend
May be assigned to an Emergency Team during events, requiring extended stay or relief duties as directed by unit management

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, with ICU experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
State License 1 Verification
NURSYS license verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
