Location

Job Description
- Seeking a Cath Lab Tech with coronary and interventional radiology (IR) experience.
- Experience with Impella, balloon pump, PCI, stents, pacemaker, catheterization, and rotablader required.
- Weekend coverage every 5-6 weeks (5-6 weekend shifts per contract).
- Weeknight call coverage 1 day per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Call covers Stroke & STEMI (Cardiac Cath Lab & IR).
- IR experience required.
- Must have experience with 12-lead EKG settings and rhythm interpretation.
- Cath Lab has 7 rooms: 1 Interventional Radiology, 2 Electrophysiology (EP), 1 combo room, 2 Hybrid suites, 1 cath room.
- Approximately 20-35 cases per day depending on the day.
- Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (3x12 hour shifts may be considered).
- No first-time travelers unless extensive background and cath lab experience.
- EPIC electronic medical record system preferred.
- No local candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with recent experience within the last year.
- Experience as an EKG Technician.
- Arizona state license required before start date.
- Certifications required at time of submission: BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT or RCIS.
- Experience with Impella, balloon pump, PCI, stents, pacemaker, catheterization, rotablader.
- Experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Proficient in 12-lead EKG and rhythm interpretation.
Schedule
- Weekend coverage every 5-6 weeks.
- Weeknight call 1 day per week (5:30 PM - 7:00 AM).
Prior Travel Experience
- No first-time travelers accepted unless candidate has extensive cath lab experience.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass background checks and drug testing within specified timeframes.
- Must provide current driver’s license/state ID.
- Must have physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Fit testing (N95) required within 1 year of start.
- Required immunizations and health documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 3 months of start
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of vaccination or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or positive titer (declinations allowed with form)
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season (Oct 1 - Apr 30)
- Must complete required competency exams and pass with 80% or higher.
- Must complete orientation and safety acknowledgments.
- Two professional references required from employment within last 3 years, including one supervisory reference.
- Employment application with detailed work history for last 7 years required.
This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Techs with strong interventional radiology skills and the ability to manage a high-volume cath lab environment.
