Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - Travel/Contract

Location: Wichita Falls, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
• Experience:

  • Level III NICU experience required
  • Pediatric/nursery experience preferred
  • Basic critical care experience preferred
  • CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) accepted
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
  • BLS (AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
  • PALS (AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) as applicable
  • CHEMO, TNCC, ENPC, NIH Stroke Certification as applicable
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) as applicable
• Systems: Epic experience strongly preferred
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • Within 1 year of start, including SS Trace, County searches (7 years), Nationwide, Sex Offender
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
• Licenses & Verifications:

  • State License verification within 30 days of start
  • NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP within 30 days of start
  • Tech Certification verification within 30 days of start
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing)
  • Immunizations and titers:

    • TDAP (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (2-step PPD or equivalent within 1 year)
    • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply)
    • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
    • Varicella (2 vaccines, positive titer, or history)
  • Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year (instant acceptable)
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/1-5/31) or facility-specific exemption
  • COVID vaccination documentation required
• Competency Exams:

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
  • Other competency exams as applicable
• Orientation & Facility Specific:

  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual update)
  • Facility-specific forms and acknowledgments required prior to start
• References: Two references required within 3 years of start

Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract position in Wichita Falls, Texas, for a Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics specialist with Level III NICU experience.
