Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Outpatient Clinic)

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Start Dates: 2/9, 2/14, 2/23
• Must have previous outpatient clinic experience
• Neuro Clinic experience preferred
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Willingness to sign contracts longer than 13 weeks preferred
• Locals accepted (at a lower rate)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required
• Prior travel experience not required

Licensure

• Must have Wisconsin or Compact Nursing License

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – as required
• NIH Stroke Certification – required for ICU, IMC/IMCU, inpatient, Med Surg, Step Down RN positions (may not apply to outpatient clinic)

Background Checks

• 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Includes SS Trace, County searches for last 7 years, Nationwide, Sex Offender

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray within 60 days if applicable)
• Immunizations or positive titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start (positive marijuana test not disqualifying)
• Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references verified within 2 years of start
• Annual skills checklist required
• Photo for badge (passport-style, no filters)
• Compliance checklist and confidentiality statement to be completed prior to start

Notes

• Candidates requesting flu vaccine exemptions must complete facility-specific exemption forms
• Some competency exams and facility-specific forms may be required depending on specialty and department
