Overview

• Role: Pediatric Critical Care Float RN Position
• Setting: Pediatric critical care float pool covering PICU, NICU, and CVPICU
• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night or day, 3x12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Ratios: 1:1, 1:2
• On-call: Yes
• Weekend requirement: Yes
• Float scope: Floats within scope across NICU, PICU, and CVPICU
• First-timers: May be considered depending on strength of ICU float experience
• Locals accepted: Yes
• Guaranteed hours: Yes
• RTO: No RTO during first two weeks of orientation

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Critical Care Float experience, with experience within the last year
• Pediatric critical care experience: Experience working with PICU, CVPICU, and NICU
• Pediatric cardiac experience: Experience working with Pediatric Cardiac patients
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• License: Valid RN license in Washington

Preferred Qualifications

• NICU experience: Level III and IV NICU experience is highly preferred
