MS Tele RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Antioch, California.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
• 36 hours per week.
• 13-week contract.
• Based in the Post Surgical Unit.
• The unit is SCU, a hybrid telemetry/med-surg unit.
• May float to other telemetry/med-surg units as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• EKG Interpretation
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips
• Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications
• Experience reading cardiac rhythms and acting on changes to those rhythms

Schedule Requirements

• Every other weekend
• On call as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

• The role involves care for acutely ill adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring.
