Location
- Salinas, California
Schedule
- Swing shift, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Rotating Saturdays: 2 Saturdays every 11 weeks
- Receives a weekday off when scheduled on Saturday
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
- Completion of a two-year radiologic technology training program
- ARRT (R)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
Preferred Experience
- 1 year of experience as a licensed mammography technologist
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mammograms and bone density studies
- Assist the radiologist with needle localization, stereotactic biopsy, and galactogram
- Support mammography-related quality assurance activities
- Review patient history and physician orders before studies
- Explain procedures and complete documentation
- Prepare completed studies for interpretation
- Assist with scheduling patient exams
