Clinical Lab Technologist - Minnesota, Rochester
Job Summary
- Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to assist healthcare providers in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot assays, evaluate test accuracy, and assist with result interpretation.
- Participate in operational support activities to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.
- Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.
- May assist with specimen collection and work with minimal supervision.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols when handling infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards.
Contract Details
- Length: 6 months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a biological science.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Lab Technician, including experience within the last year.
- Experience as a Medical Technologist.
