Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Location: Butte, Montana
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks


Job Summary

Perform Ultrasound procedures to obtain imaging results according to physician specifications. Responsibilities include patient transfer for examinations, assisting with the Ultrasound process, and ensuring quality and timely imaging.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Ultrasound imaging and related equipment appropriately.
  • Educate, position, and immobilize patients for Ultrasound procedures.
  • Coordinate examinations to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
  • Follow provider imaging orders accurately.
  • Submit images and clinical information to Radiologists for interpretation.
  • Evaluate image quality effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership.
  • Utilize and maintain department supplies properly.
  • Practice sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention policies.
  • Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safely perform patient transfers related to Ultrasound procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Recent Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year.

Work Schedule

  • Afterhours call duty.
  • Rotated weekend coverage, approximately 1 weekend per month.
