Employment Type: Long Term

Prepare for and perform all CT examinations while operating assigned equipment safely.
Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality.
Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures to ensure effective scanner utilization.
Maintain cleanliness of the scanner and related equipment following infection control policies.
Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision.
Follow universal blood and body substance precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
Comply with continuing education requirements mandated by regulatory bodies.
Efficiently use current EMR systems and complete required documentation for each exam.
Safely lift and transfer patients using ergonomic techniques and patient handling devices.
Communicate with patients’ family members or caregivers when necessary.
