Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin
Primary location: OB – Aspirus Wausau Hospital
13-week contract
36 guaranteed hours per week
12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Weekend/holiday rotation: every 3rd weekend and every other holiday
No float requirements
Mandatory on-call hours up to 20 hours in a 6-week block; may also be placed on call during low census
11-bed L&D unit and 8-bed postpartum unit
Approximately 1,350 deliveries annually

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Labor and Delivery experience with 2 years of experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Advanced NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

EPIC experience

Additional Assignment Details

Scrub color: any color
Low census: up to 36 hours of unbillable low census time
During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
