Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Pikeville, Kentucky
• Contract length: 8 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours: 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour days
• No blocked scheduling
• Every other weekend and holiday required unless time off is approved

Required Qualifications

• Kentucky or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• EKG test completion during the compliance process
• 1 year as an RN in the specialty
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Must be able to read and interpret tele strips

Preferred

• Care View/EPIC charting experience

Unit / Assignment Details

• Med Surg/Tele units
• Float throughout all in-patient areas
• May be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance
• 340-bed Level II Trauma Center
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Bed count varies by unit: 15-45 beds

Additional Notes

• COVID vaccination required unless a medical or religious declination is accepted; if declined, weekly testing is required at the traveler/agency expense
