NICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Green Bay, Wisconsin
• 13-week contract
• Start date: ASAP
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Primary location: Green Bay, WI
• 12-hour PM/NOC variable shifts, either 3p–3a or 7p–7a, based on unit needs
• Every third weekend
• Holiday rotation
• May pick up on-call as desired
• Float to Peds as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active WI-RN or Compact license
• AHA BLS
• NPR
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years level III NICU experience
• EPIC charting experience within the last 12 months

Preferred

• At least 1 travel assignment completed

Unit Details

• 18-bed Level III NICU
• Private rooms
• Family integrated unit
• Average patient ratio: 2:1, with a range of 1:1 to 3:1
• Postpartum patients are cared for in the NICU by OB RN
• Seeking experienced coverage for critical or extremely premature newborns

Additional Notes

• Candidate must be flexible with shift needs
• Newly transitioned Level II to Level III NICU
• Candidate may be the resource for a less experienced NICU RN
• Scrub colors: any or hospital provided
• Medical portion of compliance must begin within 48 hours of accepted offer, or within 24 hours for a quick start
