Job Title

Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Location

Hartford, Connecticut

Employment Type

Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Work Schedule

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Approximately 36 hours per week
  • Inpatient hold unit with patient acuity and nurse-to-patient ratios
  • Preference for ability to take Emergency Department (ED) patients as well

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Connecticut
  • Telemetry experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by American Heart Association or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Emergency Pediatric Life Support (EPLS)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
