Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Inglewood, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Work Schedule & Setting
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Dayshift
- Days: Monday through Friday, with option for 3 days a week plus 2 Saturdays per month
- Coverage: Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) and acute care units
- Shift coverage preference: More shifts preferred
- Weekly Hours: 16 to 24 hours depending on census
- Acute care experience preferred
Required Credentials & Onboarding Requirements
Professional Credentials
- Resume (required for submission)
- Two professional references (required for submission)
- Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
- Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
- Prime OIG clearance
- Prime SAM/EPLS verification
- Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
- Prime Criminal Background Check (national, within one year)
- Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
- Signed Job Description
- Prime Orientation Packet
Certifications
- BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- DCI/BVP (can be completed via Relias or CDC resources)
Personal Health History & Testing
- Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test (within 60 days of start)
- Color-blind test (annual)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 doses plus booster or declination completed
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer (declinations accepted for this facility)
- Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer (declinations accepted for this facility)
- Hepatitis B: Required (declinations not accepted at some facilities)
- Influenza Vaccine: Required or declination (seasonal)
- TB Test: Annual requirement
- Annual TB Questionnaire
- Fit Test: Annual respirator fit test (onsite testing available at select CA locations)
- Tdap: Proof of immunity or declination form
- Physical/Health Statement: Annual, must state clear to work
