Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Bloomington, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Details

  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Work every other weekend

Required Credentials and Certifications (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

  • Professional Credentials:

    • Prime Orientation Packet (includes "Essentials" Form and Post Test)
    • Prime Education Verification
    • License/Certificate Verification (Primary Source Verification within 30 days of start)
    • Driver's License, State ID, or Passport
    • Prime OIG (Office of Inspector General) check
    • Prime Criminal Background Check (National, within one year of start)
    • Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
    • Prime SAM/EPLS (Excluded Individual search)
    • Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
    • Prime Resume (required for submission)
    • Prime Reference #1 and #2 (required for submission)
    • Prime Job Description (signed by employee)
  • Certifications:

    • BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
    • PALS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
    • ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
    • NIHSS
    • DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training)
  • Testing and Exams:

    • Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)
    • Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum 80%)
    • Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
    • Prime Skills Checklist
    • Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
    • Prime Color-blind Test (annual)
  • Personal Health Requirements:

    • COVID-19 Vaccine (2 doses plus booster or declination completed)
    • MMR (Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
    • Fit Test (Annual respirator fit test; must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
    • Hepatitis B (vaccination or immunity; declinations not accepted at some locations)
    • Influenza Vaccine (or declination required during flu season)
    • TB Test (within 1 year of start date)
    • Varicella (vaccination or immunity)
    • Tdap (declinations not accepted at some locations)
    • Physical/Health Statement (annual, must state clear to work)
    • Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray (optional)
    • Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start)

Notes

  • All required credentials and health documentation must be uploaded and verified prior to onboarding.
  • Some certifications and tests require a minimum passing score of 80%.
  • Fit testing must be coordinated and completed before start if onsite testing is not available.
  • Background checks and drug screenings have specific timing and regional requirements.
  • Declinations for certain vaccines may not be accepted depending on facility policies.

This position is suitable for experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses who meet the credentialing and health requirements listed above and are available for night shifts on a long-term basis.
