Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Level 3 Trauma Center

Job Details
- Start Date: December 1
- Shift: Days, Monday to Friday (probable small amount of overtime depending on patient load)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Experience Required:
- 1 year travel experience OR
- 3 years non-travel experience
- Weekend Requirement: No
- On-call: No
- Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
- Locals Accepted: Yes
- Pending License: Not accepted
- RTO (Request Time Off) Restrictions:
- No holiday RTO
- Maximum 5 total days off in 13-week assignment
- No RTO approved the day before, day of, or day after a holiday
- Attendance Policy: Zero-fault attendance policy; any missed shift counts as unexcused. Two missed shifts = warning; three or more may result in cancellation (rolling calendar year).
Special Requirements
- Cardiac competency self-rating of 3 or above required
- Basic dysrhythmia training preferred (self-rating 3 or above)
- Wound certification preferred

Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support): Must be AHA or American Red Cross certified (RQI accepted) – required for all units
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required for Tele/PCU, ER, ICU/CCU, PACU, OR; preferred but not required for Observation unit
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Required for all pediatric units; preferred but not required for Observation unit
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required for NICU, L&D, and Postpartum units
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring): Required for L&D unit
- NIH Stroke Certification: Required for Med Surg, ER, and ICU; must be updated annually
- State License Verification: Primary source verification required prior to start
Background and Documentation Requirements
- Background check within 30 days of start, including 7-year criminal search (all counties worked in) and sex offender check
- Copy of diploma or transcript required (unofficial transcripts acceptable if graduation date included)
- Education verification required if transcript/diploma unavailable
- Competency exam specific to unit required
- Physical exam within 1 year stating "cleared to work" with physician signature
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years if past positive)
- Immunizations or titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (series, positive titer, or signed declination)
- Varicella
- Drug test within 30 days of start (10-panel, negative results)
- Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 – May 1) with documentation by Nov 1
- Two references required prior to start
- Work history verification for last 3 years (attestations acceptable; can be pending at start)
- Annual skills checklist and performance evaluation (or 2 references if no evaluation available)
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Completion of Oracle training modules before start date
- Badge photo with plain white background required before start
- Signed job description, confidentiality agreement, code of conduct acknowledgment, and marketing consent form required prior to start
- Completion of assigned WorkRamp modules with 100% passing score before start
Compliance
- Travelers must complete lab work within 48-72 hours of signing contract
