Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Specialist

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Minimum of 3 years experience with stress echo required
• Must be ARDMS or CCI registered
• Work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays as needed (no scheduled rotation)
• 24 hours per week

Required Credentials & Certifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
• Other certifications may be required depending on specialty (check specific details)

Compliance & Background Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Massachusetts Statewide (iCORI) Release, updated annually
• 7-year Criminal Background Check within 30 days of start, including:

  • SSN Trace
  • 7-year County search
  • National Criminal search
  • NSOR, OIG, and SAM checks
  • Education verification of highest completed education (transcript acceptable if verification unavailable)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks if run separately
• Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Clearance attestation within 30 days prior to start
• State-specific searches as required (e.g., MA Nurse Aide Registry Search)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start, including physician statement of fitness without restrictions
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray with required follow-up if positive
• Immunizations or declinations required for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu seasonal vaccination or declination (required during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (most recent) or declination
• Drug testing within 30 days of start (specific drug panels required)

Additional Requirements

• Medication and Telemetry competency exams for RNs and LPNs
• Skills checklist updated annually
• Employment application covering 7 years with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Two professional references within the last three years

Work Environment & Notes

• Facility requires compliance with specific declination policies for vaccines (some declinations not accepted for Pediatrics, Maternity, NICU)
• Some certifications and competencies may be required based on specialty and unit assignment
• Candidates must pass required exams with a minimum score of 80% on the first day of orientation to avoid cancellation
