Job Summary: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Santa Rosa, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit & Patient Population

• 20 Bed Telemetry Unit
• Patient types include Cath lab patients, CHF, arrhythmias (symptomatic Afib and Bradycardia), advanced heart failure
• High acuity patients, especially during winter surgical season
• Nurse-to-patient ratio up to 4:1

Shift Details

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730)
• Floating required within scope of practice based on census/staffing
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call

Required Certifications & Licenses

• California RN License
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• NIHSS Certification
• Other certifications may be required depending on position (e.g., CCRN, TNCC, PALS, NRP) – verify as applicable

Experience Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge of arrhythmias and management of symptomatic Afib and Bradycardia
• Experience titrating cardiac medications
• Management of Post Cardiac Cath patients
• Experience with advanced heart failure patients
