Job Summary: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit & Patient Population
- 20 Bed Telemetry Unit
- Patient types include Cath lab patients, CHF, arrhythmias (symptomatic Afib and Bradycardia), advanced heart failure
- High acuity patients, especially during winter surgical season
- Nurse-to-patient ratio up to 4:1
Shift Details
- 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730)
- Floating required within scope of practice based on census/staffing
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call
Required Certifications & Licenses
- California RN License
- ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- NIHSS Certification
- Other certifications may be required depending on position (e.g., CCRN, TNCC, PALS, NRP) – verify as applicable
Experience Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of arrhythmias and management of symptomatic Afib and Bradycardia
- Experience titrating cardiac medications
- Management of Post Cardiac Cath patients
- Experience with advanced heart failure patients
