Job Summary
Seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in respiratory and neuro diagnostics to provide care for neonates, adults, and geriatric patients. This is a travel/contract position with floating responsibilities within the facility and possibly to a nearby campus.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- 1st time travelers accepted.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Required Certifications and Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or minimum of CRTT (Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician).
- CRT candidates must have critical care skills/experience and 5+ years as a therapist.
- State license: Must be licensed by the State of Georgia.

- Holidays: Expected to work major holidays if they fall during assignment (see details below)

Orientation and Compliance
- Full compliance required to start on time; delays in compliance may push start date by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
- Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment).
Additional Requirements
- Background check within 30 days of start, including education verification.
- Education verification required; diplomas required for RRTs.
- Physical exam within 12 months of start.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months.
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start.
- Immunizations/vaccinations:
- Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season.
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer.
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or signed declination.
- TDAP highly recommended but not required.
- Color blindness test required.
- Competency exams required (medication, dysrhythmia/EKG).
References and Verification
- Two clinical references required.
- Verification of most recent employer required (can be pending at start with proof it is in process).
- Skills checklist within 12 months, updated annually.
