Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Atmore, Alabama
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Required Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (XRAY and CT experience required)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (First time travelers are welcome)
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT (CT)
  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)

Required Credentials & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• E-Verify documentation
• Background Check:

  • 7-year criminal history check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Must cover all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
  • Sex Offender, FACIS Level 3, SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide checks
• Education Verification: Highest degree earned (Diploma or Transcript required for technicians)
• Drug Testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
• Physical Exam: Physician statement within last 12 months (not required annually)
• Immunizations & Health Requirements:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (or annual TB questionnaire if past positive)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine or Declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine or Medical/Religious exemption (documentation required for state reporting)

Facility Specific Information

• Dress Code:

  • ED staff: black on black or royal blue on royal blue scrubs
  • Med Surg: preferably white scrub top or white jacket
• Hand Hygiene Policy:

  • Fingernails must be clean, natural, and not exceed 1/4 inch beyond fingertip
  • No nail polish or artificial nails (including enhancements, gels, acrylics) allowed for direct patient care personnel
• Facial Hair Policy:

  • Facial hair that interferes with N95 respirator fit is not allowed (e.g., full beard)
  • Facial hair that does not break the mask seal is permitted

Additional Requirements

• References:

  • 3 professional references within 6 years required for travel and acute care positions
• Competency Exams: Required as applicable by profession/specialty
• State License Verification: Primary source verification required
• NURSYS Verification: Required for RNs
• Orientation and Safety Manual Acknowledgement: Required
• Various facility-specific forms and agreements must be completed promptly

This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology, specifically with XRAY and CT skills, who hold ARRT (CT) certification and BCLS. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
