Overview

Travel/contract Registered Nurse role in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
12-hour nights, 3x12 schedule: 18:45–07:15.
36 or 48 hours can be offered.
Contract length: 13 weeks or longer.
Target ratio: 1:6.
Float requirement: Occasionally.
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
Unit orientation: 36 hours.
Patient population: Surgery patients, including colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, and orthopedics/spine.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
IV insertion skills.
Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.

Additional Notes

Locals are accepted.
Unit will accept first-time travelers.
Self-scheduling is based on unit needs and NM input.
Scrubs are not provided; navy blue or white scrubs are required.
