Overview

Role: Pediatric Critical Care float pool RN
Specialty/Unit: PICU
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend, with holiday rotation
Ratios: 1:2 / 1:3

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience

Preferred Qualifications

ECMO
CRRT

Float Scope

Floats to all Pediatric units in SJCH: CVPICU, NICU, PICU

Additional Notes

Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs
Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
All requested time off must be submitted at time of application and is subject to unit needs
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
