Assignment Details

• Travel/Contract
• 8-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Ratios: Days 1:4, Nights 1:5, Weekends 1:4–5
• Every other weekend
• On-call: up to 3 12-hour shifts
• No float outside scope
• No block schedule accommodation
• No locals
• No pending license accepted
• No first-timers accepted
• RTO limit: no more than 5 days

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or RQI
• 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
• Experience in an acute care setting
• One completed travel assignment

Preferred

• Charge Nurse experience
• Vents

Facility / Unit Context

• Short Term Acute Care facility
• Level 4 Trauma
• 32 staffed beds
• Special equipment includes Nihon Kohden cardiac monitors/tele, Welch Allyn bedside vitals machines, HiFlow, CPAP, and BiPAP
• Charting: Epic/Excellian
• Navy blue scrubs
• Free parking
