Schedule

• Day shift, 4x10 hours: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 1–2 call shifts during the week
• 1–2 weekends per month

Assignment Details

• Cath Lab provides scrubs and a lead apron for cases
• Float required within scope of practice
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Housing within 30 minutes is required for STEMI call
• Resource must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted
• Orientation is bi-weekly
• Start date on the job is the start date needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience with a minimum of 2 years
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Driver's License
• Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted
• Must be able to provide a driver’s license
• Must complete 2 references within 1 year of start date, with at least one from a supervisor or higher
• 7-year work history verification required
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam, as applicable to profession/specialty, within 1 year prior to start date
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam within 1 year of start
• Core Part I
• Core Part II
• Core Part III
• Physical exam or physician note/statement within 1 year prior to start, signed by an MD, DO, PA, or NP, stating clear to work and free of restrictions
• Fit mask completion onsite
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B documentation as specified in the source
• Drug testing within 30 days of start
• West Virginia APS/CPS search results
• Employment application/resume with education and work history
• Skills checklist

• Previous travel experience

Additional Notes

• Medical and religious exemptions for flu vaccine are reviewed case by case
• Latex allergy accommodations are available, with notification required before start
• PAPRs cannot be accommodated due to facial hair
• Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of offer
• No RTO edits are accepted after offer
• No timecard edits are accepted after the pay period closes
