Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Nights, 12-hour shifts from 3:30 PM to 3:30 AM
- Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Thursday
- Standby call and holiday shifts as needed
- Floating between multiple units or locations based on staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Radiology Technician
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Certifications & Compliance Requirements
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as applicable (check unit description)
- State license primary source verification within 30 days of start and upon expiration
- National certification/verification within 30 days of start and upon expiration (as applicable)
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exams as applicable
- Pass/Fail Telemetry Testing (EKG/Medication) for applicable specialties
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- Background checks including SSN trace, nationwide, sex offender, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
- Education verification as applicable to specialty
- Wisconsin Caregiver Screening and BID Form (state-mandated)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility guidelines
- TB Questionnaire (updated annually)
- Proof of immunizations or immunity for:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (vaccination series or declination form)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Flu seasonal vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (annual)
- Meningococcal vaccine or declination (if applicable)
- Drug screening per Vaya standard (clinical candidates)
Additional Facility Requirements
- Photo for badge (passport-style, no headwear except religious/medical)
- Completion of communicable disease form within 90 days of start
- Completion of flu exemption forms if applicable
- Telemetry exams and study guides for applicable inpatient units
- Skills checklist and employment application required annually
- References: 2 clinical references within the last 3 years (Aya standard)

- Floating assignments may require working in multiple units or locations during the contract
- Facility is Magnet®-designated and highly ranked in Wisconsin
- Parking permit required if parking onsite; alternative transportation options available
