Job Opportunity: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Anniston, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

MedSurg RN role with every other week (EOW) schedule
Float position with possible charge nurse duties as needed
Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
Skills required: IV starts, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
Level II Trauma experience preferred
Travel experience preferred
30-minute lunch break required, no skipped meals
Schedule is fixed once contract is confirmed; no adjustments or additional time off approved after confirmation
Local candidates within a 60-mile radius considered

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience, with recent Med Surg experience within the last year
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Proficient in IV starts, Isolation Precautions, and Wound Care/Wound Vac management
