Job Opportunity: Sonographer

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Start Date: March 30, 2026
Shift: Days, 4x10 hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
Patient Age Range: Adult/Geriatric


Job Details

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Echo Tech)
  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in specialty
  • Prior travel experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted with strong experience
  • Equipment: Philips preferred
  • Documentation Systems: EPIC, ISCV
  • Uniform: Navy blue scrubs (pink for trauma or pediatric trauma assignments)
  • Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
  • Holidays: Required as scheduled
  • Floating: Required within specialty; must be mobile to units performing bedside echo exams
  • On-call: No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technician, including experience within the last year
  • Certification: ARDMS, CCI, or RDCS
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
