Clinical Focus Areas

• Acute Care Medicine including:

  • Acute Renal Failure
  • Pneumonia
  • Acute Pancreatitis
  • Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
  • Encephalopathy/Cirrhosis
  • Sickle Cell Pain Crisis
  • Chest Pain
  • COPD and Asthma acute exacerbations
  • Syncope/Collapse
  • Diabetes Type I and Ketoacidosis

Work Environment

• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
• Magnet & Teaching Hospital

• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Scheduling & Work Conditions

• Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• Floating within service line as needed
• No block scheduling
• No on-call duties
• Parking available with fees (details provided during orientation)
• Night shift parking is free in employee lots

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system

Additional Notes

• No more than 7 days of return-to-office (RTO) allowed per 13-week contract
• Candidates must provide two professional references (supervisors preferred)
• Performance evaluations may be requested but are not required for extensions or per diem status
• Badge photo required within 6 months of start date
• Various state-specific background and registry checks required for Missouri and Illinois placements
