Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract Opportunity

Location: Sayre, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab. The position includes call responsibilities (1 shift per week and every 3rd weekend). The schedule may consider 4x10 hour shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including interventional cardiac cath lab experience
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID.
• I9 verification (for direct placements).
• E-Verify compliance (for direct placements).
• 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually.
• Education verification of highest level completed (diploma or official transcript accepted as placeholder if needed).
• PA FBI fingerprinting required (results within 5 years accepted).
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 90 days of start.
• Physical exam completed and signed by a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant within 90 days of start.
• Respirator Fit Test within 1 year of start, updated annually.
• TB testing (QGold/TSpot or 2 PPDs) within 90 days of start, updated annually.
• Immunizations or titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season.
• COVID vaccination (2 doses) or approved exemption.
• Respirator clearance via RespSafety questionnaire prior to start.
• 2 professional references.
• Employment application.
• Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year of start, updated annually.
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search (cannot start with results pending).

Additional Training & Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable).
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (required for certain units).
• Harassment Prevention Training Certificate (required for NY placements).
• Facility-specific compliance modules including HIPAA, DEI, Infection Control, OSHA, Safety, Security, Emergency Preparedness, Sexual Harassment, and SOGI Caregiver training.
• Review and sign confidentiality agreement and job description prior to start.
• Photo for badge meeting specific guidelines (plain light background, no hats/masks/sunglasses).
