Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Gardner, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Details

Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Weekly Hours: 40
Call, float, and weekend requirements: None
Average daily census and nurse-to-patient ratios: Not specified

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance and Background Requirements

Massachusetts Statewide (iCORI) Release
7-year Criminal Background Check (including aliases, counties, national, sex offender, education verification) within 30 days of start; updated annually
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
Education Verification or official transcript
Primary source verification of state license
Photo for badge (passport-style, light background, neck up, facing forward)

Health and Immunization Requirements

Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask test within 1 year (acceptable masks: 1870+, 1860, 1860S); onsite fit testing available if needed
Adult dose of Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
Negative TB test or chest x-ray with TB questionnaire (annual questionnaire accepted in lieu of test)
Immunizations or positive titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (series or positive titer; if low/equivocal, vaccination series and signed declination required)
- Varicella
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31)
COVID-19 booster documentation or signed declination
