Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Radiology

Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must have recent radiology experience.
• Rotate every third weekend and holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience, with experience within the last year.
• Certifications issued by the American Heart Association: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• ARRT certification.

Additional Information

• Local candidates defined as within 75 miles of the facility.
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment and pass/fail testing required.
• Core competency exams covering patient safety, HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, ethics, and other healthcare topics must be updated annually.
• Onsite pass/fail testing includes telemetry competency and medication exams.
• Physical exam must confirm candidate is in good health, free from communicable diseases, and able to perform job duties.
• Fit mask testing requires passing with approved N95 or equivalent masks.
• Flu vaccine is mandatory with no religious or medical exemptions accepted.
• COVID-19 vaccination (initial series and booster) is mandatory with no exemptions.
• Background checks include 7-year history, sex offender search, sanctions list, and other federal/state checks.
• Drug testing panel includes multiple substances; rapid tests are not accepted.

Schedule

• Rotations every third weekend and holidays.

This position is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with radiology experience who meet the licensure and certification requirements and are ready for a travel contract in New Jersey.
