Registered Nurse — Transplant

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in San Francisco, California
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift, Monday through Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • No weekends or holidays

Role Summary

  • Coordinates inpatient and/or outpatient care for transplant patients
  • Handles record review, medication refills, prior authorizations, patient education, and review of test, procedure, and lab results
  • Serves as a liaison between administrative staff, clinical staff, physicians, and other departments involved in patient care
  • Supports discharge planning, admissions, discharges, and patient care orders
  • Assists patients and physicians in clinic and on hospital floors as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Transplant experience within the last year
  • 1 year of transplant experience
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Experience in an inpatient setting
  • Experience in an outpatient setting
  • Experience with Epic
