Sterile Processing Tech
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- Day shift, 5x8 hours: 5:00–13:30, Monday through Friday, with occasional scheduled holidays
- 13-week assignment
- 40 hours per week
Role focus
- Experienced with all areas of the department, including:
- Decontamination of items such as drills, Davinci, and scopes
- Sterilization process using sterrad and steam
- HLD/scope experience
- Sterile storage
- OR liaison experience
- Censitrac tracking system experience
- Moving case carts, separating dirties, and filling case cart needs for next day cases
- Taking OR calls for both floors of surgery
Required qualifications
- Sterile Processing Technician experience with at least 1 year of experience
- Sterile Processing Technician experience within the last year
- CBSPD or CRCST certification
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Additional notes
- Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible for return anywhere in the system
- Travelers who reach the one-year max contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments
